Jobs Manager, also shown as Job Control, is a private work tool at jm-engmanager.com, used only by its owner to manage engineering jobs, client emails, files and payments. There is no public sign-up: only the owner's account can sign in, and each Google connection only accepts the owner's own Google account. This policy explains what Google user data the app accesses, how it is used, stored, shared and protected, and how it is deleted.

1. Google user data the app accesses and why

• Gmail, read-only (gmail.readonly). Reads client emails and their attachments so the owner can review them and turn them into job requests, and reads Zelle payment notices so the owner can confirm payments. The app never sends, deletes, labels, moves or changes emails.
• Google Drive (drive). Finds and creates job folders, uploads or copies job files into the owner's Drive when the owner asks, and saves a weekly backup of the app's data there. The app never renames, moves, overwrites or deletes the owner's files.
• Google Tasks (tasks). Keeps a "Job Control" task list in step with the jobs, and shows, creates or edits the owner's tasks when the owner asks.
• Basic account information (openid, userinfo.email). Only to check that the connected Google account is the owner's.

2. How the data is used

Google user data is used only to provide the features described above to the owner inside the app: reviewing and filing emails, suggesting which job an email belongs to, keeping files and tasks organized, and answering the owner's questions in the app's assistant. It is not used for advertising, retargeting or profiling, is not sold, and is not used for credit, lending or any purpose unrelated to these features.

3. Storage

The app runs on Cloudflare. It stores the records it needs: email sender, subject, text and attachment names; the text of the first pages of PDF attachments; and the jobs, requests, tasks and payments created from them. Attachments are opened from Gmail when the owner asks and are not kept by the app, except files the owner sends to Google Drive. The assistant keeps the owner's conversations (the 100 most recent) and short notes he asked it to remember. Voice recordings made in the assistant are not stored.

4. Sharing

Google user data is shared only with the service providers needed to run the features above, and only for that purpose:

• Cloudflare: hosting and database.
• Anthropic (Claude API): email text, PDF text and job information are sent to suggest how to file an email and to answer the owner's questions in the assistant; when the owner asks about an attachment (a spreadsheet, document, text file, photo or PDF), its content is read from Gmail at that moment and sent too, without being kept by the app. Anthropic processes this data to return the answer; under its commercial terms it does not use API data to train its models.
• Google Cloud: speech-to-text and text-to-speech for the voice assistant. With each recording goes a short list of words from the owner's records (job codes, street and project names, client names) so they are written correctly.
• ElevenLabs: when the owner picks one of its voices for the voice assistant, the text of the spoken answers is sent to make the voice; when he picks its dictation, his recorded question is sent to be written (not kept by the app), with the same short list of words.

Data may also be disclosed if required by law. It is never transferred to data brokers or advertising services.

5. Human access

Only the owner reads the data in the app. Nobody else reads Google user data unless the owner asks for help with a specific problem, it is needed for security or to investigate abuse, or it is required by law.

6. Protection

All traffic uses HTTPS (encrypted in transit) and the database is encrypted at rest by Cloudflare. Google access and refresh tokens are additionally encrypted by the app (AES-GCM) before they are stored. Signing in requires the owner's password or a passkey (Face ID / Touch ID), and sessions end automatically.

7. Retention and deletion

• Data is kept while the owner uses the app, and only as long as needed for the features above.
• Disconnecting Gmail, Drive or Tasks in the app's Settings deletes that connection's stored tokens at once.
• Access can also be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• To have all stored Google user data deleted, write to the user support email shown on Google's consent screen for this app; it is deleted within 30 days, except where the law requires keeping it. Weekly backups live in the owner's own Google Drive and are deleted by the owner there.

8. Limited Use

Jobs Manager's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. AI and machine learning

Jobs Manager does not use Google user data, including data obtained through Google Workspace APIs, to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models, and does not transfer it to anyone for that purpose. The AI features only process data to give the owner an answer when he asks. To personalize those answers, the assistant keeps short notes only when the owner asks it to remember something or taps "Remember", and short summaries of his recent conversations with it (written by Claude); they are used only for his own answers, and he can see and delete them in the assistant at any time. No model is trained with them.

10. Changes and contact

If the way the app uses Google user data changes, this page is updated and its date changed before the new use begins, and the owner's consent is asked again where Google requires it. Questions can be sent to the same user support email.
